Fire & Security Engineer

Role & Responsibilities
This role will involve a mixture of:
• Installations
• Commissioning
• Planned maintenance
• Reactive call outs
• Fault finding and repairs
• Small works and project support
You’ll work across a variety of commercial and residential sites throughout the North of England, with occasional travel and overnight stays where required.
This is a varied role offering exposure to different systems, projects and clients, making it ideal for an engineer looking to continue developing their skills and experience.
Systems Worked On:
• Fire Alarms
• CCTV Systems
• Intruder Alarms
• Access Control
• Emergency Lighting
• Gates & Barriers (advantageous but not essential)
• Fire Extinguishers (advantageous but not essential)
Required Experience & skills
What We’re Looking For
We recruit heavily based on personality, attitude and team fit.
Experience and qualifications are of course important, but if you feel you’d fit well within our team, we’d much rather have a conversation.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience installing and/or maintaining fire and security systems
- Good fault-finding ability
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Pride in your work and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel when required
